Douglas Walker, Author
Since he was a young boy, boats have spoken to Douglas.
When he moved to New Zealand, the William C Daldy talked to him, and Douglas had to tell the tug’s story. Douglas now lives in the American Rocky mountains, and sails all over the Americas, but his heart remains with the people and boats of the Waitemata Harbour.
John Shelley, Illustrator
John was fascinated by classic pen and ink illustrators since childhood, and debuted as an illustrator in London before living in Japan for over 20 years. The illustrator of over 50 books for publishers in the UK, USA and Japan, he’s now once more settled in England and is based in Norwich.
